In Siguatepeque, soccer brings people together. Children grow up loving the game, families cheer from the sidelines, and communities rally around their teams.

But not every young player has access to the coaching, mentorship, and safe environment they need to grow. Too often, talent goes unnoticed, and young people miss the encouragement, discipline, and relationships that can help shape their future.

At Serve Hope FC, we believe every player is created by God with purpose. We want each athlete to be known, challenged, and supported as they grow in skill, character, and faith.

That’s why Serve Hope FC exists: to give young athletes a place to belong, grow, and discover who God created them to be.

At Serve Hope FC, we believe soccer can be a powerful place for discipleship. Our model is built around developing the player, caring for the whole person, and helping young athletes grow in skill, character, and faith.

    Soccer Development

    Players participate in consistent training, friendly matches, and tournament play designed to strengthen their technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and understanding of the game.

    Christ-Centered Discipleship

    Every week, coaches share age-appropriate devotionals with players across the academy’s different categories, helping them connect what they learn on the field with Biblical truth.

    Character and Mentorship

    Coaches invest personally in each athlete, encouraging discipline, respect, perseverance, responsibility, and teamwork both on and off the field.

    Health and Well-Being

    Through the Control Niño Sano program, developed in partnership with One World Health, scholarship players receive preventive health evaluations. When a medical need is identified, families are connected with follow-up care and necessary medication.

In 2026, Serve Hope FC is opening its first girls’ division, creating a new space for young female athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, form meaningful friendships, and grow in their faith.

From Curiosity to Belonging

Kelvin first came to the field simply because he was curious and wanted to play. Coach Marcelo noticed him and invited him to train with the group. Soon after, Kelvin received a full scholarship to join Serve Hope FC.

Since becoming part of the academy, Kelvin has grown not only as a player, but also in teamwork, respect, and friendship.

“I feel like I am part of a family.”

His hard work is showing on the field, too. At Serve Hope FC’s most recent tournament, Kelvin was recognized as the top goal scorer—a milestone that reflects the hard work he continues to put in every time he steps onto the field.

Today, Kelvin dreams of becoming a professional soccer player and making his parents proud. He continues to show up, work hard, and make the most of the opportunities God has placed before him.
